A Legacy of Quality Education in Hyderabad
Established in an underserved urban locality of Hyderabad, the school was envisioned to make quality education accessible to children from economically weaker sections, while nurturing them with strong moral and Islamic values. Over the past four decades, Alhamdulillah, Iqra Mission High School has empowered generations of learners who today contribute meaningfully to society.
A defining strength of Iqra Mission High School is its integrated Islamic education framework. Along with tructured Islamiyat education, students are taught Qur’anic Arabic to understand the Holy Qur’an, encouraged in Hifz-e-Qur’an, and guided through the integration of Islamic values across subjects such as Mathematics, English, and Science. This balanced approach nurtures academic excellence alongside spiritual awareness and ethical conduct.
Recognized by the State Board and offering education from Nursery to Intermediate, the school follows a holistic, student-centered approach that focuses on intellectual development, character building, and social responsibility.
Iqra Mission High School was founded in 1986 by Dr. Mohammed Sajid Ali, with its name inspired
by the first revelation of the Holy Qur’an:
“Iqra bismi rabbikal-lazee khalaq”

Our Legacy of Excellence
1986 - Establishment
Iqra Mission High School was founded with just 20 students and 3 teachers in a modest rented building, marking the beginning of a transformative educational journey.
1995 - Permanent Campus
The institution moved to its current permanent campus, expanding infrastructure, facilities, and playgrounds to support its growing vision.
2005 – Hifz-e-Qur’an Programme
Introduced the Hifz-e-Qur’an Programme, integrating structured Qur’anic memorization with formal education to nurture strong spiritual and academic foundations.
2010 - Digital Integration
Adopted smart classrooms and modern computer laboratories, embracing technology to enhance the teaching-learning experience.
2013 – Iqra Mission Junior College
Established Iqra Mission Junior College, extending value-based quality education to the higher secondary level.
2014 – Learning While Leading: ISLI Fellowship
Dr. Mohammed Sajid Ali was selected as a National Fellow at ISLI (Indian School Leadership Institute), reflecting visionary leadership and institutional excellence.
2015 – Launch of EduBench
Launched EduBench, the institution’s online educational magazine fostering intellectual engagement and academic discourse.
2022 – Iqra Mission Vocational College
Established Iqra Mission Vocational College, empowering students with career-oriented skills and professional training opportunities.
2025 - Best Infrastructure in School
IQRA Mission Educational Institutions was declared the Winner of the Star Education Awards 2025 for Best School and Best Infrastructure in School - Telangana in Mumbai.
2025 – Transport Facility Introduced
Introduced a safe and reliable school transport system, ensuring convenient access and enhanced safety for students across the city.
2026 – Sir Syed Ahmed Khan Award
Dr. Mohammed Sajid Ali, Founder and Principal of Iqra Mission, was honoured with the prestigious Sir Syed Ahmed Khan Award in Nanded, Maharashtra, recognizing his outstanding contribution to educational upliftment.
2026 – Swami Vivekananda Award of Excellence
Dr. Mohammed Sajid Ali, Founder of Iqra Mission and a dedicated educationist, was conferred with the Swami Vivekananda Award of Excellence 2026 by SAHAKAR Voluntary Organisation, acknowledging his exemplary leadership and commitment to nation-building through education.
2026 – Ruby Jubilee (40 Years of Excellence)
